CEBU CITY, Philippines—The head of the Argao Police Station is presently in a tough situation after a lady who was captured for unlawful medications was purportedly kept in his office for seven months
This was found after the Integrity Monitoring and Enforcement Group (IMEG) of the Philippine National Police (PNP) assaulted the room of Police Major Eldifonso Miranda, head of Argao Police, past 11 p.m. on Thursday, March 5, 2020.
It was discovered that Miranda has been the subject of the attack after police got data that Jean Villanueva, in her 20's, and charged for damaging RA 9165 or the exhaustive hazardous medications act last July 2019, was confined inside Miranda's office rather than the station's detainment cell.
As indicated by Police Staff Sergeant Roy Repolidon, the work area official on the job during the strike, the IMEG showed up and declared that they were going to lead a police headquarters investigation.
Repolido said he was "amazed" when he saw that Miranda was accompanied out his office followed by Villanueva.
Repolido said Villanueva, a local of Barangay Kansay, Dalaguete, Cebu, was captured during a purchase bust activity last July 2019 and has a case previously documented in the court. This occurred before Miranda took over as boss in August 2019.
