CEBU CITY, Philippines — Local fiasco the executives workplaces in Cebu have not detailed any harm to property following the extent 5.5 seismic tremor that hit Leyte territory early toward the beginning of today, March 2, 2020.
A subsequent one, a mangnitude 2.1 tremor, was likewise announced in Bantayan Island three hours after the fact.
Alik Yao of the Cebu Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) said their partners in the various towns and urban communities in Cebu region affirmed that they have felt the tremors, yet didn't record any basic harms because of the ground shaking.
"So far walay harms. Nanawag ta sa mga LGUs (nearby government units), na-feel nila ang shaking pero walay auxiliary nga harm," Yao revealed to CDN Digital.
(We have not recorded any harm. We called the distinctive Local Government Units, they felt the shaking in their regions yet they neglected to find any auxiliary harm.)
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Philvocs) first detailed at 5:30 a.m. today that a 5.7-extent quake struck Capoocan town in Leyte at 5:19 a.m.
