With the town and youth surveys suspended to 2022, the Commission on Elections (Comelec) said on Friday that it would continue voter enrollment exercises on Jan. 20.
Under Comelec Resolution No. 10635, the survey body said voters could enroll or have their records refreshed or reactivated from Jan. 20 to Sept. 30, 2021.
During this period, the Comelec will acknowledge applications for enrollment; move, change, revision of passages or reactivation of enlistment records; and reestablishment of the name in the voters' rundown.
Qualified to enroll are the individuals who will be at any rate 18 years of age at the very latest Election Day (May 9, 2022), the individuals who have lived in the nation for at any rate a year and in any event a half year in where the individual in question means to cast a ballot. First-time voters are required to document their applications actually.
