CEBU CITY, Philippines – Park just at the assigned stopping regions.

This was the token of the Cebu City Transportation Office (CCTO) to lovers who are wanting to visit the Basilica to stay away from having their vehicles braced or towed and later on pay the relating fines.

Assigned stopping regions are situated at the Compania Martima grounds situated over the City Hall official structure and approach the Post Office working at the Plaza Independencia.

An alternative is to take open transportation to the Basilica, says a CCTO warning that was posted on their authority Facebook page.

The CCTO warning said that their traffic faculty previously braced around 80 vehicles that were illicitly left on streets found near the Basilica since the beginning of the Novena Masses for the Señor Sto. Niño on January 9, 2020. The vast majority of these vehicles were refered to for "night illicit leaving."

Around 37 bikes were towed from walkways in the zone for illicit stopping on Friday morning, Jan. 10.

"Awhag namo sa mga motorista dili mag pataka og stopping sa walkway aron maagian pud ang walkway og hapsay ang pag lakaw sa atong mga kaigsu-onan nga manimbahay," says the CCTO warning.

(We are requesting that the drivers forgo stopping on the walkways with the goal that these regions will stay deliberate for the utilization of people on foot who are headed to hear Mass.)
