In Japan, more than 885 thousand homes were left without electricity due to the typhoon "Faxai". This was announced on Twitter by energy company TEPCO on Twitter.

The company warned that because of a power outage, there might be problems with dialing into the call center.

Japan Meteorological Agency predicts that typhoon will overtake Japan from September 8 to 9 in Shizuoka Prefecture. Forecasters, among other things, promised heavy rain and wind, including in the Tokyo area.

Japanese authorities report that 22 people have already been affected by the disaster. Authorities warned more than 390 thousand people about the need to evacuate.

Ten victims were injured in the county of Tateyama, Chiba Prefecture. The same number of victims in the eponymous administrative center of Chiba. Two more people were injured in Kanagawa Prefecture.
