Board favors P1 million money related guide for SK

CEBU, Philippines — The Cebu City Council has affirmed the P1 million money related help for every one of seven Sangguniang Kabataan chambers expected for their particular activities and projects. 

During the City Council's session yesterday, ex-officio part Jessica Resch, who supported the goals, got approval of different individuals on the said issue. 

The seven barangays are Tejero, Bonbon, Toong, Sambag 1, Kinasang-a, Punta Princesa, and Babag. 

These barangays are among of the nine barangays whose recommendations are addressed by the councilors before as a few proposed things to be acquired are overrated. 

When it was exhibited again yesterday, these barangays had the option to change their proposition as mentioned by the councilors. 

In any case, the councilors advised Resch to remind the SK authorities to pursue inspecting principles and strategies laid by the Commission on Audit (COA) and other existing laws to keep away from inconsistencies later on. 

To review, the regional government has appropriated P80 million for the money related help of the 80 SK committees in the city. 

Barangay Babag has proposed undertakings like Babag Integrated School, beautification of SK office and obtainment of sound framework worth P50,000; monoblock seats and table for P40,000; three PC sets for P150,000; printer for P15,000; and camera for P40,000. 

Others are seats and table for P50,000; convenient workstation for P30,000; electric fans for P5,000; paint for P10,000; bond paper and pen for P15,000, among others. 

A measure of P350,000 is put aside for the ball group in the said barangay. 

The P1 million for barangay Bonbon is expected for the acquirement of games hardware and office supplies, for example, overlaying machine, PC set, b-ball fiber glass board, projector, PC, water allocator and others. 

For Barangay Punta Princesa, they will used the money related help from the regional government for 'scholarly supplies', for example, workstation, PC set, printer with scanner, meeting table and others. 

The SK gathering of barangay Sambag 1 is going to utilize the P1 million for therapeutic mission, fire readiness, exercise center beautification, riches sanitation and cleanliness ventures. 

For barangay Tejero, the P1 million budgetary is planned for Brigada Eskwela, office supplies and others. 

The budgetary help for Barangay Toong is for the obtainment of office supplies and gear, sports program, instruction exercises and others. 

Further, for barangay Kinasang-a, the P1 million is for the acquirement of correspondence materials. 

With the endorsement of their proposition, the seven SK chambers are relied upon to present the point by point Project Procurement Management Plan (PPMP) to the City Council.
