A PRIVATE resident has documented a grumbling against Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña for grave offense, lead unbecoming of an open authority and disregard of obligation after he found the city hall leader playing poker inside an illicit betting spot prior in the year.
Complainant Conrado Romano said he risked upon the civic chairman betting at the House of Jacks inside Ralph's Wines and Spirits in Barangay Kamputhaw on three events last January.
The civic chairman, as far as concerns him, was courageous by the protest.
"I will answer all... that is typical. They generally think of things. I'm going to kick the bucket, I'm this way, I'm that way. I've never been indicted by the Ombudsman. Never," Osmeña said.
"They have recorded twelve of bodies of evidence against me and I'll give my legal advisors a chance to deal with that," he included.
The poker house was struck by individuals from the City Mobile Force Company last Jan. 30 after the Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corp. grumbled that it was working without a permit.
Amid the task, 19 people were captured, including the foundation's associate chief, Precy Impas.
Cebu City Police Office (CCPO) Director Royina Garma had gotten data that a portion of the poker players were high-positioning city authorities.
