Police official precludes requesting the execution from securing 'NPA supporters'

Brig. Gen. Debold Sinas said the suspects opposed capture and drew in the agents in a shootout. 

The episode occurred amid the execution of court orders that Sinas named as "Oplan Sauron," the name of the fundamental opponent of the dream novel, "Ruler of the Rings." 

Sinas said one of his staff, Corp. Ian Puerto, was hit in the thigh. He was conveyed to the Silliman University Medical Center in Dumaguete City.
