USC Warriors overwhelm Naga Inter-Collegiate confining

The University of San Carlos (USC) Warriors quelled the University of Southern Philippines Foundation (USPF) Panthers, 76-67, in their unexpected demise last match to lead the first City of Naga Basketball League (CNBL) Inter-Collegiate Championship on Sunday night at the Enan Chiong Activity Center. 

Kurt Trangia dropped 20 points while Froiland Mangubat and Roosevelt Jelianggao slammed in 18 and 16 markers, separately, underscoring the Warriors' reasonable assault. 

USC of mentor Bong Abad trailed by three points at halftime, 35-38, however had the capacity to turn things around in the last half while in transit to take the P100,000 champion's handbag. 

USPF, driven by Nigerian import Rich Managor and RR Cauba with 15 points each, still has something to be upbeat about as it got P75,000 for wrapping first sprinter up. 

In the fight for third spot, the University of San Jose-Recoletos (USJ-R) Jaguars endure the University of Cebu (UC) Webmasters, 85-82. 

Elmer Echavez, Tricky Peromingan, Nicole John Ubalde and Fletcher Galvez joined for a sum of 74 for the Jaguars, who got P50,000 for their endeavors. 

Tristan Albina terminated 20 points while Paul Galinato and Darrell Shane Menina schemed for 27 points in UC's losing cause.
