Ex US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton abandoned plans to run for president in 2020. However, she promised to actively support the candidates.

Clinton said she would not stand for office, but would continue to "work, talk, and defend what she believes in." She is also not going to run for governor or mayor of New York.

"I love living in New York, and I'm so grateful that I had the opportunity to work as a senator for eight years, to work with people across the state"
- said Clinton.

She stressed that she was not going to disappear from the political life of the country, because what is at stake and what is happening in the United States now causes her great concern. Clinton said that she had already met with many Democrats who are going to run for president in 2020.

In an interview with News 12, Hillary Clinton noted that the Democrats have a long list of real problems and unfulfilled promises by the Trump administration. According to her, it is necessary to pay attention.

"We have to work very, very carefully ... and I'm going to do everything I can to help the Democrats regain the White House"
- She said.
