The Department of Transportation-Land Transportation Office and the PNP-Cybercrime Division Group are cautioning people in general to be careful about online fixers and tricksters utilizing counterfeit LTO Facebook pages or records.
"Fixers and con artists are staying aware of innovation. We have seen the expansion of phony LTO Facebook pages which have defrauded some of our customers. We request that our customers disparage just authentic LTO Facebook pages as we keep on working against counterfeit FB accounts across the country," said LTO boss Edgar Galvante in an announcement.
Galvante said that their real Facebook page is Land Transportation Office-Philippines
"We will post the rundown of authority Facebook pages of the LTO territorial and locale workplaces. Meanwhile, don't execute with unlawful LTO accounts," Galvante said.
They moreover asked the general population to report this issue saying that the more individuals report these phony LTO Facebook accounts the less demanding it will be for Facebook itself to bring them down.
The gathering included that casualties of these phony locales can record their grievances or request specialized help with the PNP-ACG.
