Cebu City Mayor Tomas Osmeña has recorded managerial and criminal objections against Councilor Pastor Alcover, Jr. who purportedly censured his notoriety by spreading false data identifying with the Ateneo harassing episode.
In his 18-page objection, the civic chairman blamed Alcover for damaging Republic Act No. 10175 or the Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012, or the Revised Penal Code, Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards for Public Officials and Employees, and grave wrongdoing.
"Respondent Councilor Alcover's vindictive demonstration of crediting to me – or influencing it to appear to general society that I created an impression supporting the demonstration of harassing in the viral recordings of AJHS understudies obviously establishes slander," peruses segment of the objection.

"Respondent Councilor Alcover defamed my notoriety for being civic chairman of the City of Cebu by crediting to me an explanation that I never made. He influenced it to create the impression that I supported the supposed harassing episode including AJHS understudies, and that I agreed with the supposed domineering jerk," read a segment of Osmeña's protest.
The civic chairman denied that he put forth the expression that was credited to him, saying it is unbelievable for him to support such demonstration of tormenting which is disallowed under Republic Act No. 10627 or Anti-Bullying Act of 2013.
