Medical wastes Mayor Radaza tells 2 hospitals to explain

Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Paz Radaza needs the two healing centers to clarify how and why the medicinal squanders achieved the waters off the Mactan Channel and wound up in the coastlines of the city. 

Her announcement came after a netizen caught a video and some photographs of a few bits of syringes and some little vials skimming along Barangay Ibo last Saturday, January 5.

City Legal Officer Ethelbert Ouano said they have sent a notice to disclose to the included doctor's facilities on why they didn't deal with their squanders legitimately. 

After a Facebook post, Ouano said they have sent clean reviewers to direct stock about the issue. 

"It was affirmed that it could be classified as an irresistible waste, (a) medicinal waste. These are perilous and harmful too," he said.
