A. SOLO COMPETITION:
1. Competition is Open to All. Contestants ages 12 years and below must be accompanied with a parent/guardian.
2. Characters/costumes must resemble an existing title from anime, manga, movies, TV series or video games.
3. Characters may be inspired or based on interpretation of other established companies. For example: Genderbent version, Kotobukiya's Bishoujo series and so on.
4. Competitors may pre-register for the competition. On-site Registration is also available (September 1, 10am to 1:30pm).
5. Skit Performance must be no more than 3 minutes.
6. Performers may only have up to 1 assistant/ninja to help them with their costumes and/or helping them with their performance.
7. They may submit an audio file (mp3) for your performance during the online preregistration (present to August 30, 5pm).
8. STRICLY we will not accept any mp3 after the deadline and during the on-site registration. We will play a music for performers who didn't have their own music.
9. All kinds of costume props must be handled with utmost care and must not be harmful to his/her fellow contestants, event staff and event attendees. Any kind of sharp and/or bladed objects that will be used as costume props that could cut human flesh are strictly prohibited. Any kind of pyrotechnic equipment/s that will be used as costume props that could render damage to the venue and/or property is strictly prohibited.
10. The organizers and its staff will not be held responsible for damage or injury resulting from mishandling and/or negligence of a cosplayer in his/her use of props/materials throughout the duration of the event.


NOTE: Failure to arrive and present at 2:00pm will cause an immediate disqualification. We strongly encourage everyone to be close by before the program starts.



A.2 REQUIREMENTS & REGISTRATION

4. IMPORTANT: To complete your registration:
1. You must confirm at the registration table, during the event day.
2. We will give you a contestant number and do remember it.
4. On-site registration is also available during the event day.


Confirmation of registration and on-site registration will only be on 10:00am – 1:30pm during the event day.



A.3 JUDGING CRITERIA
The panel of judges will judge the cosplayers (ages 13 and above) with the following criteria:

1. Accuracy and Craftmanship (40pts): Faithfulness to the original and quality, details, durability and how well the costume stays together.
2. Performance (40pts): Faithful to the character's mannerism and iconic poses. Includes projection, expression and quality of the skit.
3. Overall Impact (20pts): Overall Appeal, the combination of both costume and performance.
4. Plus Ultra (-pts): Up to 5 additional points will be awarded to contestants who went above and beyond what is asked from their cosplay or performance.
